I am not going to make this another lament about the decline of my blog. Today I went to my favourite charity shop and found treasure.
'For surely they are not only lovely pictures of fragments of a lovely creation, they are patterns of things we all know if we have ever really lived: they are Figures of the True.'
'one never knows where a book may wander'
You are blogging again Frangipan, how wonderful because I have missed you! I temporarily lost your blog details when I changed the name of my own blog, but I am delighted to be able to read your most interesting art blog once again :)
ReplyDeleteHi Frangipan - I notice that Blogger is doing strange things ... again. I am not sure if it is because I changed my blog name (I am no longer Wall Art by Dolly!) but when I try and follow you once again, I cannot seem to get a feed. Hopefully it will sort itself out? Meanwhile I shall keep checking manually to see if you have put up a new post. All very strange :( but as I said above I am so happy I found your superb art blog once more!
ReplyDeleteThe shadows of the trees make me think of other things- like the first; a laurel or rose crown, and the second; the shadow looks as though a figure is leaning against the tree..
ReplyDeleteHope all is well
